Final Cut Pro editing class is here! One incredible day, With a maximum
of 5 students per class, each student gets a hands on personalized
instruction by a real pro editor in a real pro edit bay.
WHAT IT IS: In this Professional
step-by-step instructional digital course, students are taken through
the process of movie editing, utilizing Apple's Final Cut Pro's non-linear
editing system.
**35mm Film? HDTV or Mini DV original? Doesn't matter. This course takes
the raw daily footage to the "Final Cut".
WHAT YOU'LL LEARN: While
learning and becoming familiar with the basics start up fundamentals,
preferences, and computer equipment requirements, students are taken through
the software in a step by step interactive process.
Key points include the principles of three point editing, the setup,
logging, digitizing and organizing of source footage. Also covered in
this course is basic trimming, editing audio, creating elemental titles
and outputting finished "broadcastable" programs.
Information will be provided regarding how to use scripts notes, camera
reports and multiple clips and takes, to edit the material into scenes.
By creating short montages, the students will learn the art of sequential
composition.
