OPPORTUNITY
Are you involved in the filmmaking community in your city? Would you
like to get involved? Filmmaker's Central offers this opportunity for
you to do just that!
Realizing that not everyone can take the time to travel
to Los Angeles, we're extending out our hand and are ready to come to
you. To reach as many filmmaker's as possible with our distinctive programs
and classes, we're going to need your help. Our mission is to be an enthusiastic
provider of quality training to everyone, and it is our goal to partner
with filmmaker's such as you to make it happen. We believe collaborations
with individuals , Universities, community colleges, industry retailers,
sponsors and many other organizations and people, helps to nurture homegrown
feature film, TV production and talent/crew in the hometowns of our students.
FMC will cover the cost and arrangements of all room rentals,
instructors' requirements including travel, accommodations and per diem,
technical and movie gear rentals, workbooks, diplomas, and relevant industry
handouts.
To cosponsor you only need to provide the extensive and aggressive promotion.
Some ideas for promotion include word of mouth or printing of a flyer (FMC
can provide the design) and mailing it to your respective list of filmmakers,
writers, artists and wannabes. Or you can put the flyer up at local vendors
(camera stores, movie theaters, cafes...) and filmmaking events going on
prior to the course dates. Also, getting the classes listed on local filmmaking
websites and message boards and local newspapers. We have plenty of ideas,
please feel free to call us for more suggestions! Most classes require at
least three months of hard-hitting marketing. You will receive complementary
admission to the courses you cosponsor and a percentage for each fully paid
in-advance participant for each course and venue.
We're excited about the future, and I would like to have to the opportunity,
with your help, of introducing our film and entertainment Industry courses
to your filmmaking community. Our attendance and co-sponsorships are rapidly
