Back to the Future (PART II & III)
dir: Robert Zemeckis
By Arthur Handy

Flux capacitor is fluxing…..
Time circuits on. Imputing our new destination,
November 5, 1955.

That was the day Doc Brown had a revelation, a vision, the day he created the flux capacitor. Where’s Doc's 1955 residence?

It's located at 4 Westmoreland place in the city of Monrovia, CA. and is better know as a National Historic Landmark "the Gamble House". Named for David and Mary Gamble (of Proctor and Gamble) who had it built as their retirement home in 1908, is open regularly for tours. Sneak a peek; maybe you'll get a glimpse of one of Doc Brown future experiments.

South Pasadena is also home to Lorrain Banes (1727), George Mcfly's (1711), Biff Tannen's (1809), and Jennifer's house from BTTF II and III. They're all located on Bushnell Ave. which happens to be, interestingly enough, Michael J. Foxes home in Teen Wolf.

Marty Mcflys house is located at 9393 Roslyndale Ave in Panorama City, CA. The tree-lined street still looks the same in 1955 as it will in 1985 and is it does in 2003…I think?

Now, the famous 1955 Marty-Biff hoverboard show down location is up for grabs. There are those that swear that the tunnel location is on N. Vermont Avenue in Griffith Park, the same tunnel AKA Toon Town from Who Framed Roger Rabbit.

Then there are those that are sure that the tunnel location is north west of the 405 freeway up the hill towards Mullholand Drive, just north of Sherman Oaks. The truth is out there!

Flux capacitor is fluxing…
Time circuits on. Imputing our new destination,
November 5, 1885.

We're in the city of Port Hueneme, CA at the Shonash - Clayton - Eastwood canyon A.K.A as South Ventura road (Anacapa View). It's the very last scene of the trilogy where Marty returns from Hill Valley 1885 and the heart breaking destruction of the Delorean Time Machine. If you're lucky, and look real hard maybe you can still find a piece of the wreckage and BTTF History.

See you in the future, where in our next issue we'll visit movie locations from the Domed City of Logan's Run.
