MALL - NIGHT
From the outside parking lot it looks like an enormous beached
whale. It is the prime hangout for all the teenagers in the
area. Kids mill around the parking lot or stand by the mall
entrance.

Fast
Times stars notable talents Sean Penn, Jennifer Jason Leigh,
Phoebe Cates, Eric Stolz, Anthony Edwards, Robert Romanus,
Ray Walston, Judge Reinhold and Brian Backer. If you look
really close you might even catch a glimpse of another future
star before he changed his stage name to Cage.

The
scripted characters: Jeff Spicoli, Stacy Hamilton, Brad Hamilton, Mike
Damone, Mark Ratner, Linda Barrett and the others of Ridgmont were all
creations of Fast Times writer Cameron Crowe, who also makes a special
appearance during Mr. Hands history class. He's one of the many
students receiving a failing grade.
What is this
fascination with Truancy? They pretend they don't see you, you

The mall
scenes were shot in the food court of the Sherman Oaks Galleria,
15303 Ventura Boulevard, Sherman Oaks, CA. Demolished, and
rebuilt, the Galleria is now home to movie business and eating
establishments.

| Perry's
Pizza didn't make the new cut. The Galleria was also used in the 1985
movie "Commando", with California Governor and big screen Terminator
Arnold Schwarzengger.
Are you really nineteen?
Yes…I'm really nineteen.
The
famous "first time" for Jennifer Jason Leigh baseball dugout
is located at Franklin Fields in Van Nuys.

No shirts, No shoes,
No dice.
The All
American burger location is some what in question. There is an All American
Burger on Sunset blvd. in Hollywood, but is it the one used in the movie?
Some believe it is others say the real location used is now a Star Bucks.
I've been at the All American Burger on Sunset but was asked to
leave because I wasn't a wearing a shirt….

The location
used for Damone the scalper, promise to pay scene, was shot at Excelsior
High in Norwalk, CA. This same location was seen in Grease and other Teen
movies from the 80's. The school has been closed down for years. |

Brad. You know how cute I always thought you were.
Brad and Stacy's house is located at 24124 Welby
way in Canoga Park, CA. Yes the pool is still there but don't expect
to take a swim with Phoebe.
And if you
suddenly want some narly eats during your locations lesson and scout mon,
why not send for the Pizza Guy, they're over on Moorpark St. in
Studio City, CA.
