In today’s world, you can forget about filming your movie at a real airport. With tightened security measures, obtaining a film permit is virtually impossible. But even if you manage to obtain a permit, there are still dozens of obstacles that you must overcome in order to get your shot. Add to the mix sound interference, crowd control, parking, and power, airport filming is simply a nightmare…

Air Hollywood has designed, constructed and expanded its world famous Airport Terminal. Unlike conventional airports, Air Hollywood offers a high production value, fully-dressed terminal with all of the conveniences of a studio – parking, power, atmosphere control, etc. Housed on a 30,000 square foot sound stage, this one-of-a-kind standing set is a dream come true for filmmakers.

Air Hollywood’s Airplane Mock-ups offer the benefit of shooting in a controlled environment while maintaining a level of high production value. It is no surprise why so many of Hollywood’s biggest feature films, television shows and commercials have used them.

Our Stock Footage collection is one of most comprehensive travel film archives in Hollywood. We specialize in High Quality aviation footage, as well as vintage material filmed around the globe. All our material originates from professional quality 35mm negative and is available in multiple formats.

We continuously update our Stock Footage library with new and collected materials. Our highly knowledgeable consultants are available to assist you in providing the information need to get the right shot for your production.

Air Hollywood features a fully functional prop house that includes over 1,000 aviation-themed props and set pieces with a helpful, knowledgeable staff. Our props and set dressing cover a wide range of geographic locations and time periods, including the 1950s, 60s, 70s and modern day.

We welcome you to browse some of our props online, but while we continually expand our inventory we would like to encourage you to Contact our Props Department regarding your specific needs.

Sourcing and Procurement: Need hard-to-find aviation-related items? Our network of vendors can provide virtually anything aviation-related including ground support equipment, tarmac and runway pieces, airport furniture, models and miniatures, and even airplane junk.

Set Design and Construction: Our award-winning designers can work with your production to design and build the set you need. Our in-house construction capabilities allow us to deliver on-time and on-budget.
