The Commission was created to assist filmmakers in realizing their creative visions in California and is the premier location for all motion picture and television production. A one-stop shop for filmmakers, the CFC issues permits for filming on state-owned property and manages several incentive programs for filming in California.

Film Liaisons in California, Statewide (FLICS)
Film Liaisons in California Statewide (FLICS) is a network of in-state film offices and commissions that work cooperatively with the California Film Commission (CFC) to retain attract and facilitate film production within designated jurisdictions in California.
